But beneath the simplicity lies a gruelling test of physical endurance, mental fortitude, and unwavering commitment. As the sun sets and rises again, skaters will push their limits, fuelled by passion and the knowledge that every penny raised will go to a worthy cause and will help us and the community.\nWhy the Hastings & Rother YMCA?\nHastings & Rother YMCA has been a pillar of community support for  over 75 years. From after-school programs to fitness classes, holiday clubs, we empower individuals of all ages to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Funds raised during our skate marathon will directly benefit Hastings & Rother YMCA initiatives— for our young people and community programmes.\nThe skate \nThis 12-hour skate will be held in our sports hall and won’t be a solitary endeavour. Skaters from all walks of life can pop in and join us. We’ll create a rolling wave of determination, fuelled by camaraderie and the knowledge that each lap brings us closer to our fundraising goal.\nHow You Can Help\nSponsor a Skater: Pledge a donation.
